Weston Hardwood was recently awarded the Trade Contractor of the Year Award by the Greater Toronto Home Builder Association!

Excerpt: Toronto Builder - Spring 2007:

Sawdust is in Joe Fazari's veins. His father and his uncles were in the flooring business and he grew up learning the tricks of the trade sanding, installing, staining, finishing and repairing hardwood floors.

Fast forward to 2003, when Joe took over the family business and renamed it Weston Hardwood Design Company, opening a 3,000 sq. ft. showroom in Woodbridge.

Although his showroom is open to the public, the bread and butter of Weston hardwood Design Company remains new home builders, who recognized the company with this year's subcontractor award.

"The best part is getting recognized for something you do every day," says Fazari. Weston Hardwood Design Centre specializes in laminate, cork, engineered and hardwood floors.

He credits the company's efficiency in scheduling, good customer service department, exceptional quality and experience as reasons for winning the award. His customer have access to more than 16,000 sq. ft. of stocked flooring.

"We're always there when we are called," says Fazari.

A new member to GTHBA-UDI, Fazari was pleasantly surprised when he got the call that we as nominated for the awards this year. "The best awards are ones you don't even know you are getting."

Weston Hardwood has a long family history of flooring excellence. This lead Weston to be recognized by the Greater Toronto Home Builder Association who chose Weston Hardwood as the Trade Contractor of the Year.
